Wow, if they keep bidding like that I might have to put up a couple of cases just to make a bit of change. |

We oughta find a photo of the high bidder and put his picture in the dictionary under "uninformed buyer"..... |

Never mind the nasty (but true)coments on the bidder. Get his name and address. I have about 6 cases of this stuff he can have at that price. |

This could be a case of "the shills." The buyer could be a close friend of the seller. Lets see if "another lot" of the same ammo comes up for bid or if the ammo reappears for bid on another site. I wish I had a nickel for every time I've seen an auction item sell for a ridiculous price only to pop up for bid somewhere else a bit later.
Then there are to no show bidders who are just jerking everyone off to be a pain in the butt. Then we have the drunks too. Drunks are always fun at auctions. |

Good screaming grief!! His opening bid represents a fair retail price if you walked into your local Wally World or other big box store. To go $49.00 over that is beyond belief. If this is factual, keep in mind that this buyer is walking among us somewhere. What a refreshing thought.

Mr. Fields had it right: Never give a sucker an even break, smarten up a chump, or draw to an inside straight..... |
