I have just tried using the Win primer with the multi Hull and find that it is very loosely held. I can full seat it with my finger. Are the Win primers smaller than the Cheddite primers??. They fit well in the Fed hulls.
Will the primer seat tool help this problem??
Thanks

I use Winchester 209 primers for loading BPI multi-hulls and have had no fit problems even after several reloads. Could be that the batch of hulls or primers are out of spec, other than that I have not a clue. Try reconditioning the primer pocket and see it there is a change. Good Luck. |

I have the same issue when I am loading cheddites with W209's. I can push the primers in with my finger. But, it has never caused any problem that I have noticed, and the primer pockets have never expanded so much that the W209's won't stay in. |
