Hi,got my roll crimp bit in the post yesterday so set about reloading my first 16 gauge reloads from the L.P.R.G. cheddite hull with longshot powder , so went out at 5am this morning to try them out, our goose season is over but i still have a crop protection licence and with my very first shot a got a nice high pinkfoot goose with the 1oz of #4 lead which we can still use here in scotland away from wetlands i have a nice photo of the goose and gun if someone can tell me how to post it, Jim. |

WJ. Nice photos. Great shooting. Looks as if most of your pellets went into the head and neck. I wish I could shoot like that. Thanks for sharing. |

Yes they are nice guns but a bit expencive for me, it was nice to get a goose with a 16 guage my usual goose gun is an 8 gauge and 2 1/2oz

8 gauge, WOW. The only 8 gauge I ever saw or shot was a single shot industrial shotgun and I was de-slaging a coal fired boiler with it.

Hi Rex, might be some of your hulls i now reload like the black remington
unibody and the green remington industrial hulls they both need to be resized to fit the 8 gauge shotgun, Jim. |
