Hi friends,
Been off the web quite a while but I take it the new 7/8 wad is happening. Where do I order some?
Thanks, Rizzy |

I received Precision Reloading's New Catalog in the mail last night and guess what it has the new DR16 WAD listed in print , YEAHHHHAAAAAAA .
Folks I hear that Keith is giving 2 - 5 shot strings with the purchase price of the case , this is an even better deal than we had agreed upon .
We need to support the folks that support us so jump in there and give Precision a call , order some wads make up some loads that you think is the cats meow and have Keith at Precison test them and be part of the function of the 16 Gauge Trilogy
Thank you Keith Hagen for your catalog and your willingness to help the 16 GA . Shooter .
Regards Charles
Enjoy the day

I will do my part--help me with some contact information, please. I want to shoot my RBL in International Skeet competition and this wad may prove useful.
Thanks |

Thanks fellas, ordering my DRA16's today!
Meanwhile I might throw out this load I've had great target success with
on anything inside 45 yds:
purple hull (fed or estate)
fed 209
18.5 grns Greendot
SG16 sporting wad
7/8 oz 8 1/2's with a meat tray punched out filler (the best) approx 1/8"
Soft on the shoulder, fairly quick-the 8 1/2's are like hot splatered oil. Demolish inside birds.
This is the 1-oz load M1605187 from the "16g Manual" rated at 9300/1220-but I magine it's running slightly less pressure and slightly more speed loaded w only 7/8. Believe me, it's enuf BB's.
yOUR COMMENTS APPRECIATED.
I plan to slap those new blue DRA16's right into this recipe w no changes unless I hear noise from you guys. Thanks, good shooting,
RIZZY |

Thanks for the link for DR16's and I have ordered 1000 to try.
However, are there any links that would help with published 7/8 ounce loads for my black Remington's? |

Just go over to the hogdons powder site. They have quite a few 7/8 black remington loads. |

Here we go again. Hodgdon is listing data for a Winchester Xpert hull.
Per Winchester's web site they don't make the Xpert in 16 gauge http://www.winchester.com/products/catalog/shotlist.aspx?gauge=16.
To my knowledge Winchester quit making the Xpert in 16 gauge in 1999 so what gives.
Hey 16gg you are tight with all the powder manufactures. How about giving the folks at Hodgdon a call and give you an explanation. |

????? I think you are assuming way too much here TB. It would be better for you to call Hodgedon and ask for a clarification or to lodge a complaint. I Load one Hodgedon powder now--H110 for .410 skeet loads. I'm very satisfied with it and the data for it. My loads here haven't changed in 15 years or more. |

I'm sorry 16 gg I thought you knew everything about everything and everyone in the industry from the counter girl at Recob's to the CEO of Alliant Powders to the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Browning. |

Kudos to Hodgdons for getting this data run and published, but what's up with the "Expert" hulls?
I propose a 16 gauge summit! Time to get everyone, including the cooperative companies like Hodgdon's, on the same page regarding hulls, wad names, etc.
Now someone get right on that! |
