| If Lyman were to agree to produce a short run, i'd probably by a number in different gauges, 16 certainly, and keep them for posterity, or when the market dries up again... Not for profit, but to help a serious reloader in need down the road. |

Tony..... Good info! As we want Lyman to consider offering this product again, this is an important element! I forgot about slug loaders! Sorry!
I may even mention this on the ShotgunWorld site as many load slugs roll crimped over there.
I remember either type head being offered many years ago now...
I even machined a 12 gauge standard into a slug type (for round balls) and found no detriment when reloading shot loads with it either.

Rich, They come gauge specific I guess you could say, each comes as a complete unit. The mandrel that the hull slides over is interchangable, so if you could find a set of mandrels and one cutter/handle you'd be set 
I found mine on ebay, thay pop up every now and again. Cheers Bob |

I was too slow also, darn job, kept me from calling early.
Sioux, how in the heck did manage to come across a hand crank roll crimper in 10ga?! I never fall into those kind of deals.
I am sure the 24ga would be the last one produced if ever. I am holding on to my two from UK. They work ok. |

This is great news! Put me down for a hand crank crimper in 16ga., and a case trimmer too.
I bought a vintage crimper off ebay, and it works fine, but the case will spin inside during downward pressure, which causes you to hold the case tightly, which has resulted in crushing of a few cases from too much sideways torque. It does have a push rod feature which pushes the crimped hull out of the crimper, which is a great feature. Hint hint.  |
