If anybody is interested I was scouting the Cherry's web page yesterday and they have an older (grooved forend) 870 for sale $275. It appears to be in very good shape for it's age. I have no dog in this hunt so caveate emptor. I just know there are some on here that like the older guns and this seems like a fair price so conside this a public service announcement. |

I'd love to know exactly what this gun weighs. That fact would put a lot of speculation and opinions to rest I'll wager. |

While it is a nice gun for it's age, the gun on gunbroker.com sure doesn't look like a 97+% gun (per the description) when you look at the close-up pictures. Just an observation. |

I'll let you know when it arrives at my front door.
Don't see too many 16 gauge, 870 skeet guns.
It will go next to my .410, 28, and 20 gauge skeet guns. |
