I received a lot of hulls with the used press I bought. A few are unique, specificaly "Charles Daly" and "nimrod". Can I use data from a standard (which one?) hull or should I toss them?
Thank you |

Can you post some photos? Side view and clear shot of the case head should be enough. |

Also, I've found that cutting hulls in half lengthwise and keeping them for reference helps indentify odd hulls. |

I don't mean to hijack your thread but I have some "odd" shells (not shot just yet) that i need to identify. My dad picked up two dozen assorted shells at a flea market for two bucks. The one I am most interested in knowing how to reload is a purple plastic hull fold crimp "Wards" shell loaded with 1 oz. 7.5 shot. The other, there is only one of these, is a Canuck, red plastic hull fold crimp.
I also got some Rem Shurshot paper hulls with a roll crimp. I don't have the set up for roll crimping so i will probably just shoot them. |
