Hey everyone, glad i found this place! I recently inherited great grandpa's old featherlight "because he would want it to be used". I have shot it a few days at the range now and love this gun. I have always wanted to get into reloading and was thinking the 16 ga might be the reason i need to make the plunge. I have a reliable source for remmington game loads (black hulls) and was wondering if these are worth saving as i keep reading up getting ready to reload. Thanks for your help!

Congratulations on the gun. Welcome to the website. Remington hulls are popular with many of the members. You might want to do a search as I'm sure you will find previous posts which would provide information about the hull.

If you find yourself with too many hulls post them here for sale and you could use the money to buy a Sizemaster and your components--Folks here could use the hulls and you will set yourself up in the reloading business--Everyone wins Wink Cool P.S Don't forget to join the Low Pressure Group down the road --lots of great info Wink

Keep the hulls you can always sell them here. If you want to just test the waters, I found the little lee loaders do a decent job and you can find one every now and get them very cheap here in the classifieds. I have a 37 16ga too that was my dad's . They are very neat guns.
