I'm posting my Buckshot recipe I had tested by Tom Armbrust last year here and on the LPG. The copy of the test sheet is on the LPG site.

The recipe is as follows:

- 10 O Hornady Buckshot pellets (Stack 2x2)
- Cheddite (BPI Multihull) 8 mm brass green case
- Ched209 Primer (what comes in the new hulls)
- 21.5 grains Longshot powder
- (2) 16 ga. Obituator Gas seals (BPI OB16)
- (1) 1/8” Nitro Card (BPI NC16)
- Teflon Wrap cut to 2 1/16” by 1 1/8”
- Buffered with MIX 47 Buffer to fill shell (slightly less than a 7/8 oz shot dipper full of Buffer)
- (1) 16ga Overshot card (BPI OS16)
- 6 point crimp

FPS: 1214, 1228, 1238 AVE 1226, sd 12, EV 24
PSI: 11200, 11400, 11300 AVE 11300, EV 200

As you will notice, pressure is just under SAAMI max. Use this load at your own risk. This is information only.

This load takes some time to reload, but you don't need to make a lot of these either. They make a very nice looking shell.

I have found this load works best in a full to extra full barrel. I get outstanding patterns out of my old A-5 full barrel.

Hopefully, someone will find this information useful.

BB.

Thanks for the data! And your #2 load of GD with 7/8oz looks VERY consistent.

Cheers,
