The Kent shells are great duck shells. Problem is price. Have found two stashes of these shells at gun shops where apparently they didn't sell when the price was lower (older inventory). Bought all they had at each shop for $10/box at one shop and $11/box at the other shop. The shops were glad to get rid of it. Apparently these shops hadn't seen the resurgence of the 16 gauge in their areas. At the same time I bought the $10/box shells (April, 2008) Mack's Prairie Wings was selling it by the case for over $30/box. Unfortunately, don't know of a place to order it at a reasonable price. Just check every gun shop you go into. |

They have sold them in both in the past. $75.00 for a box of 25. |

They're about (gulp) $3 per shell. Come in boxes of 10 --
One of the reasons Im looking around for a Japanese sweet that I can shoot steel out of. But Im glad that at least its an option now. Ill say this, TM is deadly stuff and if your on the bird its a dead one. And at that price, you'd better be on the bird!
I stocked up on Bismuth that I got at a good price which is my mainstay.
Ill say this though...when its $2 + a pop you sure get selective about taking your shots
Maybe when the PETA freaks get lead banned from the uplands the price will come down on nontox due to the demand. But I doubt it. |

Are Kent T-M only made in#5 for 16ga.? I should have them in #3 for fox and bigger birds.. Here in norway they cost 700nok (roughly 100usd)for 25 shells! I have the #5 shells and I'm very satisfied vith the patterns. |

I've got some #6/s I bought several years ago but have seen nothing but the #5's for the last few years. I've never seen anything larger than the #5's. |
