I'd vote for all gauges. If it gets to be too much, it can always be changed. |

Full discloser: I'm guilty of selling some 12ga ammo last year - I debated at the time if I should (or could) post but decided I would rather offer the sale to members on this website than others. I had more PM's to buy those shells than anything I've offered/sold 16ga related. Sad but true. But since that time I've held back on anything non 16ga related in respect of the 16ga focus on this website.
I struggle with the right answer to this question as I can to some degree relate to those reasons given for supporting the change but in the end I vote we keep the direction of the website focused on the 16ga.
If I think about the article Doug was interviewed for about the 16ga society a couple of months ago. How would he answer a question like, "Yeah Doug, that is a nice website but if the society is so dedicated to the 16ga why do you have members selling/buying other gauges?" |

Pretty sure RLR390 has paid his dues, but I don't see the "Member" avatar.
There is not a great deal of activity on the guns for sale forum as it is, so I would be disappointed to see other guages excluded. The point was made that this is a relatively small community and as such there is a level of trust that develops. It's easier to buy a 12 ga from someone I know than a 16ga from someone I don't.
If the volume of non-16ga items gets out of hand it can be dealt with then.

As a new member, I was honestly annoyed when I first saw other gauge shotguns being offered. On the other hand, I have about equal numbers of 16s and 12s.
But this is a unique site and I think 16-gauge-only is the best way to go. That's who we are.
I also want to echo what someone wrote about the membership of this group being a cut above. I just purchased my first gun off the internet(Remington 31 16 gauge) from this site and the transaction was honest, open and smooth.
This is a great organization and I want to see it keep its current desire to provide information on the best gauge ever manufactured. And I want to see it continue to be specialized and its members be special sportsmen with common goals and ideals. |

How about they put the gauge in the title, then the folks that are only interested in 16s, can just pass on by ? |
