This is a nice and all original Early Remington 870 Wingmaster 16 ga. with 26" vented rib SKEET Choke barrel with factory mid-bead and ivory front. These are extremely RARE especially in 16ga. The serial number on the barrel matches the one on the receiver. This is a 85% gun. Original blueing is excellent having light wear on the barrel and mag tube....also some light spotting on the chrome lifter. Date code is PYY indicating June of 1952 production. Serial number is in 189,XXX range. Excellent bore.
550.00 plus shipping.
I also have a Model 12, 16 gauge, Simmons vent rib, modified choke, and straight stock. Not 100% sure the stock is original to the gun. Won't have pics for a few days, as my son has my camera in Ireland.
Asking 550.00 plus shipping for the Winchester also.
PM or E-mail if interested. asphaltdave@comcast.net

I'm open to any reasonable offer on these guns, as I really have no use for them.
Thanks, Dave |

JAE 16
Thanks
I hope to.
Looks like it is a re-blue, and reworked to 2 3/4 and rib added and maybe stock and forend added.
Possibly all done at Simmons when the rib was added.
If you look closely at the picture of the underside of the gun with the serial numbers on the barrel and receiver, you will also see a 2 3/4 marking.
All should be well and hopefully this will be a fine shooter.
FFL and Money order already sent
WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE BUY THE 870??
STARTING TO BURN A HOLE

Yeah, I have one with a simmons rib and they did the reblue then. They did a very nice job. I think they recomond you blue the whole gun so it all matches.

Dave, Do you still have the 870 Skeet? Would be interested, no longer have a pump in any gauge. |
