A load I've used for many years,that was in the 1996 Alliant book, Federal purple hull w/paper basewad,1 oz shot,G28 wad,21.5 grs Unique,Fed 209A primer=1,220 fps @8,200 psi.Page 34 of the book has numerous loads using Unique/Green Dot/Herco & Red Dot.There is data using Federal/Fiocchi/Winchester & Remington hulls.I will be leaving in about 6 hrs to chase Muskies in N.Wisconsin & will be computer free untill a week from Monday.

wildlew....... that is the $64,000 question!

Two different wads are thought to be the Activ G-28 (or G-32). Please look at the pictures and tell us which wad your wads look like!

Here is my comment which remains un-answered with any certainty...

Wildlew. If you got out to my website and go the the link for 16 gauge loads, you will find a lot of loads for the activ wads. They are listed as cheddite loads, 1628 and 1632.
