Do you think kind of work fools a lot of people?

I mean, he is really not even that good at it.

Surely, someone who is bothering to buy a classic sxs would have seen enough through research to know something does not look right in the coloring, the burn circles, etc.

I mean, the Parker is just terrible:

But I guess there is a sucker for every swindler.

The sad part is that he is selling these. He would not keep doing it if people were not buying them. I've seen his posts on another shotgun BBS defending his 'safe' procedures for 'restoring' fine old doubles to 'identical to new' or 'better than new' color.

From the looks of the end result... I'd have to guess blue Sharpies!

If that gun was restocked it had to be a long time ago. There is a lot of shirnkage aorund the reciever and some oil soaking as well.

I would not buy a used hull form this "Professional Gun Expert"

Regards, Gordon

Hence, the 1 ounce load recommendation. More recoil wouild probably cause the old wood to fail (our boy can't fix wood with a torch). Eddie has been a problem child for many years now. Rolling Eyes
