I wrote a note to Ed1 when this all started a few weeks ago he sent me a reply( horseshit) I forwarded it to Dewey. So Dewey was already fired up. Dewey is my neibor and freind he has recased some guns for me the man knows what he is doing. Ed1 must rope some guys in because he is still doing it. |

Lord - I'm a yahoo who likes to work on things but never as a "for sale" item.
I have removed pistol grips and straighten tangs, carved the stock to fit and to add color, heated the tang with a blow torch and dipped it in used motor oil.
Totally amateur and it looks better then Eddie's work.
BTW - If you can find a beater gun to work on I recommend redoing a stock, trying checkering, etc. and maybe modifying the stock in some way. If nothing else you will learn that good hand made guns are actually cheap. |
