Rec'd funds and the buyer likes the gun. Please remove from the forum.
Sold effective 2-17-10. Thanks for looking and the contacts.
A couple of you folks have asked for more pictures. Please me send your email address and I'll send them to you. My email is, eibroe@shoreham.net.
Thanks (2-14-10)
M 37
I have a very nice Ithaca M 37 16 gauge for sale. It is all original except I have lengthened the forcing cone in the barrel to reduce the recoil. (I do gunsmithing and have the tooling to do this precisely)
I shoot Remington black shells from Dick’s in it and it works perfect with them. It doesn’t seem to like the new Winchester economy shells, sometimes they are hard to eject.
It weighs 6 pounds and 4ounces. The barrel is 28” with a modified choke.
It shoots where you look. I intended to keep it but just bought another 16 gauge SXS so I don’t need this gun. No cracks, serious dings, rust or dents, only normal light handling marks. As I recall it is a 1950s era gun.
You can check on my reputation at Gun Broker under the name of Peacore. I am asking $350.00 and I’ll pay the shipping, no CA sales
If I can’t figure out how to post pictures here send me an email and I’ll send you some nice clear digital pictures.
Ernie
PS, I was lucky to get one picture on here if you want more email me. Thanks
