Thanks for all the well wishes, I am healing slowly and hope to be able to get back in the Grouse woods sometime around mid December with my 28 gauge double guns.

Dave, How is your recovery going and are you able to get out at all? I got out for the last day last week but did not fly a bird. If the weather holds for a bit I'll get out in Ny.

Unfortunately my recovery is not to the point where I was able to get out in the Grouse woods, toward the end of December. I want to start doing some more training with our Gordon Setter pup, unfortunately my healing is not at that point quite yet either.
Slow healing unfortunately.
