Pretty excited. Picked up first year browning case in what looks to be great condition with its 1929 grade 2 (not so great condition)16ga today.
Bought the pair for what my case restoration was going to cost.
Guess I will be selling a grade 2 and a beat up first year case soon. I just wanted the case. I have only seen three of these 2 latch blue lined cases now in 20 plus years
Will share pics when it arrives.

Congrats. I was watching that and just about jumped in at the end. Glad I didn’t, I would have been upset if I was running up the price on you |

I’m finally picking up straight stock gun from art next week. It’s supposed to be ready but haven’t got prototype back yet.
This grade 2 that came with its 1929 case is nice but needs engraving touched up, a leather pad, wood refinish and rust blue. This one was converted to 70mm.
Probably 1200.00 in work and would be 2250-2500.00 gun. I already have a grade 2 that I love.
I have a rough first year case with 2 barrel space(special order) that I was going to restore but then I found this one. I have a pic of 1 other first year case and I own the only other 2 I have seen. I doubt I will get a chance to buy another.
I believe I’m going to have a prewar 16 a5 case colored soon but want to get all these guns back first.
I think a cch receiver with blue screws, magazine stop lever and trigger guard will look pretty cool. |

I still need a grade II but I would like it to be 2-9/16. Let me know when you are ready to sell that straight stock |

If I sell the straight stock gun I will call you first. Or email
But I hope one of you guys bought this grade 2 here a month or so ago on gunbroker it’s the nicest one I have ever seen!
It went for 2400.00 or so but was worth every penny
Amazing engraving, rather have that than grade 3! |

Leather looks to be ostrich no rips interior cleaned up like new.
But the paperwork sure makes me smile |

Yep, if you bought it. Darne cases are a little bit specific. I’ve owned a few.
Best,
Ted |
