TJC, I pestered Remington for 5 years about the R-16 wad issue. I was pleasant, but persistant. I saw a need, I went for it. We got them to do it. I could not have done it alone. The folks on this forum joined in because they saw we had a common need.
The truth is, we still have common needs--more and different loads, more and different guns, more reloading componants etc. Just because they said no this time, does not mean they will always say no. Besides, if we ask other companies to bring out products, and they do, the fat cats at Remington will begin to eye the market more seriously. No industry leading big company wants to be left out if it has the means to jump in. When it does, it is usually with a mighty big splash.
Persistance pays off. It did for the R-16 wads, it will for other stuff too. Just remember, we have to act as a team. There is no I in team. Think it over buddy. |
