I'm posting this for someone who came to me via email. Thanks. -Doug
16 Gauge x 2.5" x Non-Toxic Shotshell Supplier...
I own a beautiful 16 gauge drilling with Krupp barrels, etc. in excellent condition and I would like to use it for hunting pheasants, but I cannot locate shotshells.
I checked out your list of suppliers on your website and contacted the appropriate suppliers/manufacturers and all declined availability.
I have considered having the chambers lengthened, but as a collector alterations really cause me distress for some reason.
Can you offer suggestions and or direction?
Thank you,

I'm not sure if I'm answering the question, but RST makes a 2 1/2" non-tox with Nice Shot. $3 every time you pull the trigger, but if that's what you need to use.... |

Try New Era Ammunition, he may load you some?
RST is the only commercial non-toxic shortie that I am aware of.
I load my own Short hulls using nice shot. NO COMPLAINTS HERE!
I have played around with ITX a little, but my experience so far is there would probably not be enough room in the short hull using ITX shot.
Hevi-shot dropped the ball and loaded theirs in 2.75" Geez, talk about not knowing your audience, my goodness, who does their marketing? |
